Started in 1979, the first major MLA exhibition was held at Brandon Hall Hotel and it hosted 26 manufacturers and suppliers. Four decades later, MLA Expo takes up two halls at the purpose-built exhibition venue the Telford International Centre, and with over 100 major manufacturers and suppliers exhibiting, with the next show looking to grow even more and cement its position as the No.1 show in the locksmithing and physical security industry. After the phenomenal success of the MLA Expo 17; the largest show to date, manufacturers and suppliers appear to be excited for the chance of being again a part of the largest show in the locksmithing industry. Despite MLA Expo 19 stand sales only officially launched on 1st of May 2018, with more than one and a half years to go the event, 70% of the present available space has been already sold with 60 exhibitors having already signed up! MLA Managing Director Dr Steffan George said: “MLA Expo; an event that has grown in the last few years to be the largest and most successful show for the locksmithing industry in Europe, it’s set up to become bigger and better, and dare I say, based on feedback from visitors last year, looking on course to become the largest in the world. We are delighted to see the record number of stand bookings for the show so early on, and we look forward to welcoming everyone to what will no doubt be a great event in 2019”. The MLA were delighted to be approached by DOM UK who have signed a deal to sponsor MLA Expo 2019. As well as the exhibition element itself which will feature a variety of product launches etc. there is also the very important and well-respected training aspect too, with seminars and technical training being run over all 3 days of the event. MLA Expo 2019 is a major event for the locksmithing industry that cannot be missed.
