Many people have now heard of, and used the Alutech sectional door. The most common question asked after, how much is it, and when can I get one, is how easy / quickly can it be installed? UK distributors JD UK asked some of their growing number of customers to provide some comments / quotes (names removed to save any embarrassment). • “It’s almost identical to install as the Hormann / Garador product, we love the side tension springs and the Alutech tension system also has fine adjustment for the perfect balance.” • “Adjustable track hangers’ slide along the horizontal door track like other suppliers, but I can also order track hangers at different lengths, so it makes it easier and quicker for my fitters to hang the tracks.” • “The ball bearing rollers have a captive shaft, which doesn’t allow the roller shaft to become detached from the roller holder, as I’ve had bad experiences of this happening before and it falling out of the tracks” • “The bottom rubber was pre-installed with adjustable stops helping to take up uneven ground level missed at the point of survey.” • “The best reveal fit kit we’ve ever used, looks like someone thought about the installer for a change.
