LAIDLAW INTRODUCES ITS NEW ACCESS CONTROL AND DOOR AUTOMATION BROCHURE Laidlaw Access Systems, from Laidlaw, has released a new brochure detailing its comprehensive range of access control systems and automated doors that are suitable for use in a wide range of applications. Combining some of the most state-of-the-art technologies on the market with its dedicated, fully qualified team of experts, Access Systems from Laidlaw provides a high level of service and solutions suitable for a wide range of sectors including retail, commercial, healthcare, education and hospitality to name a few. The access control system can be tailored to specific requirements - whether the project calls for access control linked to time and attendance, workforce management software or simply a stand-alone access control unit. Laidlaw Access Systems offers an affordable solution with an unlimited choice of technology, including (RFID) smart cards and biometric access control using fingerprints as well as iris and hand readers. Smart cards can also be used for cashless vending, membership services and access to IT services. For places such as schools, where the security and safety of the pupils and teachers is a paramount concern, an electronic access system can help ensure access is only available to the right people. This can be achieved either through a mechanical master key system, electronic access control, or a combination of both. Laidlaw Access Systems can offer both options, complete with battery powered electronic reading technologies, which keeps costs low for projects with a large number of doors. Access Systems can offer specifiers a completely integrated solution, combining timber or steel doorsets with the use of hard wired or stand alone access control and automatic sliding and swing doors with incorporated access control. The integrated solution offers many advantages; the factory preparation means shorter installation time, the single source supplier offers ease and convenience and the installation is fully co-ordinated. Shafiq Sharif, Group Marketing Manager at Laidlaw Interiors Group commented: “Our new brochure gives customers the chance to see how Access Systems can benefit them and their business. The brochure showcases the wide range of products on offer that can be tailored to suit an array of projects.” To view the brochure online and for more information on Access Systems, visit www.laidlaw.net Also online at: www.dijonline.co.uk 68 THE door industry journal spring 2014 building hardware
