Constructed with a robust and resilient steel door leaf, the door’s 65mm thick high-density insulation provides exceptional thermal efficiency with overall U-Values down to as low as 0.93 W/m 2 k for the FGS 800. Both the FGS 800 and FGS 810 models are constructed around a sturdy aluminium frame, which has thermal breaks and insulating polyurethane foam built into the frame to further minimise heat loss and eliminate thermal bridges. Garador’s Managing Director Simon Hipgrave comments: “We wanted to create a really great entrance door that will give security and a contemporary look and feel; and helps to keep heat loss to a minimum. The new FGS 800 and 810 exceeded our expectations on all these fronts and we don’t think builders looking for an entrance door for conventional domestic builds will be disappointed.” Sand blasted float safety glass adds a great look to these doors and allows good light levels to filter into the home, whilst giving some privacy. Furthermore, the glass is triple insulated to back up the exceptional thermal insulation provided by the door panel. Each window is framed by a stainless steel element that gives an ultra-modern impression to the entrance door. Aside from attractive modern looks and great thermal insulation, the FGS 800 and FGS 810 models offer outstanding security with a 5-point locking system and RC2 security equipment. The door is supplied with 3-way adjustable hinges as standard, for a quick and hassle-free installation and also means the doors can be adjusted with precision to deliver an ultra-smooth door motion. All FrontGuard and FrontGuard Plus doors in the series can be fitted to open inwards or outwards, providing a flexible entrance solution for front or back doors, and there are a number of available options including brass or chrome spy holes, window drips and an electric strike plate with key catch for keyless access for added convenience. With up to 16 colour and timber-effect finishes to choose from, these entrance doors can be styled to exactly match a garage door from Garador’s Up & Over and Sectional garage door ranges.
