Both the Somfy and BFT teams in the UK actively participated back in December, with their collective contributions being matched by the company to bolster the charitable endeavour. The funds raised enabled the purchase of over 400 diverse gifts, including perfumes, aftershaves, reading and activity books, puzzles, board games, hair and beauty items, and sports equipment. In 2022, the ‘Mission Christmas’ initiative made sure that more than 31,000 children woke up to a gift on Christmas morning. Cash for Kids, a grant-giving charity with a nationwide reach, focuses on improving the lives of underprivileged children and young people facing challenges such as poverty, illness, neglect, or have additional needs. Their mission is rooted in the belief that every child should have the opportunity to express their individuality, realize their potential, and live life to the fullest. Cash For Kids works with grass-roots organisations that aim to make a difference to young lives, directly supporting families who often have nowhere else to go. Somfy and BFT have chosen to support this charity due to its universal resonance, believing in the impactful work that Cash For Kids consistently undertakes. Cash for Kids aimed to raise an estimated £23.69 million across the UK in 2023, supporting 583,957 children and making a meaningful difference in their lives. www.somfy.co.uk | www.bftautomationuk.com
