Door Industry Journal - Spring 2026

From First Steps to Full Stride One year of progress, and the changes we promised are taking shape. Settled in and stepping up, DIJ enters 2026 evolving with its industry and ready for more. THIS TIME last year, we were sitting on a big secret at Clearview Group, that we were about to take the reins at the Door Industry Journal. At the time, we couldn’t wait to get started, and that excitement hasn’t lessened ever since. In fact, it has only grown. Our first ‘official’ issue may have been Summer 2025, but for us, it has now been a full year since we first stepped into the DIJ seat. When we took over, we promised some changes, but not too many. Now, those changes are beginning to take shape. You may have already noticed that the magazine is starting to look a little different. What do you think of the new front covers and refreshed format? From the outset, our goal has been to put you in the spotlight, creating space for our customers on the front page and throughout the issue with new section openers. We have also introduced some subtle design touches. Those familiar with our other publications may recognise elements of the ‘Clearview’ style coming through, while we hope still preserving everything that makes DIJ so special. Beyond the printed page, we are also working behind the scenes to bring our online presence up to date and more in line with the wider Clearview ‘family’. It is all part of a wider effort to ensure DIJ continues to evolve alongside the industry it represents. The biggest change for 2026 is right here in your hands. This issue marks the first of four editions this year, as we move from three publications annually to a quarterly schedule, including a brand new Autumn issue, released exactly when you would expect. Ours is an industry that never stands still. Innovation, regulation, technology and customer expectations are always moving forward, and so must we. But while the landscape continues to evolve, some things remain constant. The importance of quality, expertise, collaboration and community are as vital today as they have ever been. That is where DIJ will always stay true, continuing to champion the voices, achievements and insights that make this industry what it is. And finally, as this is our first issue of the year, a slightly belated but very warm Happy New Year to all our readers, contributors and partners. We are excited for everything 2026 has in store and look forward to continuing the journey with you. Thank you, as always, for your continued support.
