Dalmatic controls are well recognised and respected in the UK market for their quality, reliability and ease of installation. Whilst Dalmatic as a brand may be relatively unknown to many, most of the industry will be aware of the names “Mini Standard” and “Mini Basic” which have been used successfully by Link Controls for over 20 years. Managing Director David Lewis, who was instrumental in concluding this deal is delighted that this agreement has been finalised, he said: “Ellard has built a strong reputation during recent years for its product quality. We see this agreement as the next stage to further improve our products. “During the next few months our existing electronic controls will largely be phased out on motors with mechanical limits and the Mini Standard and Mini Basic will be offered as standard to all our existing customers. “We also hope that other door companies who have become familiar with these controls will wish to continue to do so and become valued customers of Ellard”. In addition to their core products, Dalmatic also produce a wide range of safety accessories, and new/ replacement dock loading control panels which are compatible with most leading manufacturers of loading bay equipment. These will all be added to Ellard’s already extensive range. These are really exciting times at Ellard, following the move to new premises in September the company has seen significant growth in its sales. At the same time the company has expanded its product range and will shortly be increasing its offering further by diversifying into the blinds and awnings segment and automatic personnel door entry systems. David Lewis added: “Ellard’s strategy is to provide quality products, continually improve and expand our range to meet increasing customer demands whilst at the same time providing the best sales service and technical after care support in the industry. “The new premises provide the perfect base from which we can grow our business. We now have ample space to ensure we have sufficient stock to meet the market demands; in addition we are now geared to expand our business by a further 50%”. “Supported by its parent company Ensor Holdings PLC, Ellard will continue to invest heavily to ensure it maintains its position as one of the leading suppliers of industrial door motors and accessories through a continual programme of innovation. “Investment in training and the development of our staff are vitally important. We also plan to replace our IT system with a state of the art package that will improve stock control and efficiency in our operations department” Pictured are Hans Hilmar Dall, Owner and Managing Director of Dalmatic and David Lewis at the official contract signing.
