The leading garage and entrance door manufacturer has been working with Welsh sister company, IG Doors, who has developed a new range of entrance doors suitable for a wider variety of design requirements and budgets. IG Doors has supplied both major housebuilders and regional developers with its products for over 25 years and has built a strong reputation for its ability to provide solutions for the increasingly complex requirements of this industry. This new range, however, has been designed with the modern consumer in mind, providing a strong, long-lasting and affordable selection of GRP composite doors. This popular door type will join Hörmann’s current entrance door offering, including the steel ThermoPro range as well as the advanced aluminium ThermoCarbon and ThermoSafe. The composite doors share some of the attractive features of Hörmann’s existing products with security as a top priority. These new doors are supplied with two sets of Hörmann designed triple security bolts on the hinge side for anti- leverage, helping to prevent break-ins. Hörmann’s composite doors will also offer an assortment of finishes, accessories and glazing options to help create the perfect entrance for any homeowner at a cost- effective price to suit all budgets. David Newcombe, managing director of Hörmann (UK) Ltd. commented: “We wanted to expand our offering in this area to provide a greater variety of options for our customers. Homeowners’ requirements differ greatly and our products should reflect that. With our new quality composite doors, Hörmann can now provide an attractive solution for a wider selection of projects and budgets.” The new composite doors will be available later this year.
