The full merger – which was completed on 1st July 2019 - will see dormakaba UK extend its product offering and assist its growth and expansion into new sectors. Chartwell Doors and Security Solutions Ltd specialises in automatic, security and fabrication solutions. Its product offering ranges from automatic and manual doors, and gates and barriers to bollards and roller shutters – which will complement dormakaba UK’s existing service offering. The acquisition will provide an opportunity for dormakaba UK to achieve greater customer reach. This Summer’s New Starters & Department Movers Fran Walsh – Customer Services Fran is the latest addition to our Customer Services department, after working in a customer- based role for Trading Standards. She enjoys the variety that comes with her new position, which involves speaking to and helping different people with a variety of queries on a daily basis. Liam Withers – Interim Customer Services Team Leader Liam has been with the company for more than two years and has proven to be a valuable member of the Customer Services team in that time. Due to his proactive approach, communication skills, and providing a clear direction for the department, Liam has stepped up to Customer Services Team Leader for the next 6 months. His new role will still encompass looking after customers, whilst also providing guidance for the rest of the Customer Services team. John Duffy – Product Development After performing excellently within the Customer Services and Technical side of the business for many years, John has now progressed to join the Product Development team. This move is in recognition of his excellent technical competence and experience, of which will serve as a very valuable asset to the Product Development department. John will be directly supporting new product developments within the business and working on some key technical design projects within the product ranges, to help support quality improvement. He will also continue to work with customers in terms of training and SeceuroSchools and maintain a level of customer support where required. Stacey Lindeque – Receptionist Prior to joining SWS UK in May, Stacey was a Showroom Host at Volkswagen, which allowed her to perfect the customer service skills that have equipped her well for this role. The customer- facing aspect of working on reception is what Stacey enjoys most, as well as the busy and varied tasks that accompany her new position.
