We have introduced smart Slate Grey into our steel door ranges in response to increasing requests from merchants, builders and the public.” Slate Grey is the perfect colour for those wanting to add a modern look to their build. The new shade offers a soft formality that is perfect for modern living, giving a fresh new look with a distinctive style. Slate Grey (RAL 7015) is available for all the doors in Garador’s steel Up & Over range, including its popular vertically lined Carlton design and more modern door designs like the Design Range 210. As with all of Garador’s colour finishes, this new colour is applied to the panel using a powder-coated paint, which provides a protective, long-lasting and attractive finish to the door. Including the new Slate Grey, there are now 19 colours on steel doors. View the full range of colours available online at www.garador.co.uk or call 01935 443701 to find out more. Roll Up for Garador’s Anthracite Metallic Leading garage door manufacturer Garador has introduced a new finish of Anthracite Metallic Grey into its colour range for GaraRoll roller doors. This exciting new shade offers a really striking new look for residential streets, with a dark grey appearance brought to life with subtle pearlescent flecks blended into the surface. The overall colour portrays quality and excellence, fitting well with contemporary and elegant house designs. Garador’s GaraRoll roller door is already recognised as a premium garage door thanks to its precision engineering and unique design. Rolling up into a compact box at the top of the garage door opening, the door ensures full access is available to the ceiling space inside the garage. There is also an externally fitted version, where the roller door is fitted outside the garage. An important aspect of Gararoll is its operator driven design with pressure sensitivity built into the motor. This means that the door recognises when it has an obstruction in its path and automatically stops and reverses for maximum safety. Windlocks are fitted to each door lath as standard, ensuring the door curtain is securely held within the guide tracks and the spring-assisted motor ensures a longer service life of the motor. Insulation is important, and a GaraRoll door is made up of 77mm high foam filled aluminium laths. GaraRoll also features many other options including windows and ventilation grilles. The door is available in sizes up to 5000mm wide, giving a full spectrum of door sizes for both smaller and larger garages. The introduction of Anthracite Metallic (Noir 2100 Sable) brings the total number of colour finishes in GaraRoll’s roller door range up to 12. The textured matt black surface texture is replacing the previous high gloss black. The paint colour Jet Black (RAL 9005) will remain unchanged. The textured matt black finish provides a soft sheen, with an attractive aesthetic. When viewed close-up, the new surface finish is more textured and therefore more forgiving. Garador’s Managing Director, Neil Discombe comments: “We are confident this stylish new matt black surface texture will offer another option for builders, homeowners and specifiers alike; wanting a smart and stylish look to their property.” The matt black offers a subtle new style that can add significantly to the frontal aspect of any property and will be available on all the steel up and over doors, including popular models such as the Salisbury and Carlton. Garador’s side hinged and personnel doors will also be switching from gloss black to matt black, offering a strong new look for these specialist door systems. The new surface texture will be entered into production in July 2019. Find out m ore by calling Garado r at 01935 443701 or visiting www.garador.co.uk
