Welcoming both new and existing customers to the stand over the three days, Hörmann experienced an impressive 87% increase in actual sales leads compared to their attendance in 2019. Taking centre stage on the stand was the demonstration area for the new RollMatic T roller garage door, which simply and effectively illustrated Hörmann’s claim that the door is the ‘most fitter’ friendly door on the market being quick and easy to install. Also launched at the show was the RollMatic 2 roller door, with visitors to the stand being able to see the new Durabelt feature in action - technology that has been added to the door to address the problem of scratching normally associated with roller doors. An automated sectional garage door featuring an eye-catching graphic from the ‘Hörmann Alone’ Secured by Design marketing campaign highlighted the innovative ‘Duragrain Individual Print’ feature, whilst a sectional door panel which showcased the new Slategrain finish proved extremely popular. The Hörmann range of premium entrance doors attracted many visitors, with eyecatching and colourful examples of both their Thermo46/65 steel and aluminium doors being on show. With barrier-free entrance for both garage and entrance doors becoming increasingly popular, visitors to the stand were able to see demonstrations featuring Hörmann BlueSecur Bluetooth technology, alongside operation via BiSecur hand-held transmitters. Hörmann also launched their new smart home control centre, the Hörmann homee, designed to centralise the operation of both garage and entrance door operators. Developed in response to the increasing popularity of Smart home devices, the Homee is compatible with other smart home systems, combining the operation of heating, lighting, and security systems, making homes more comfortable, secure, and sustainable. Commenting on the show, David O’Mara Marketing Manager at Hörmann UK said: “When we attended the FIT Show back in 2019, we were asked why we weren’t showing our garage door range. This year we responded with our stand including a good mix of garage and entrance doors and the reaction to both product ranges was fantastic. “We also wanted to bring some fun and action onto the stand which we achieved with our RollMatic T demonstrations – a first for Hörmann UK, our daily competition and a guest appearance of Harry and Marv from our Hörmann Alone marketing campaign. Feedback was excellent and enquiries were high with our team of Area Sales Managers already busy following up on all of the sales leads gathered. “Overall, it was a great team effort and there were some great performances from Harry and Marv, our colleagues from Technical, who were kept busy with the RollMatic T demonstration area and everyone who stepped forward to provide a running commentary of the demo’s as they took place. After everything that has gone on, it was great to be able to meet with people face to face, and even though exhibitions are hard work, everyone enjoyed themselves.” www.hormann.co.uk
