Peter Bonetta, a fully time-served qualified carpenter and joiner, founded his specialist company nearly fifteen years ago in construction, property maintenance and garage doors. Its emphasis and direction have changed over the last five years and it is now a specialist garage door company only, carrying out repairs and supplying and fitting new doors and automation throughout Devon, Somerset and Dorset. Peter said: “Garage doors are replaced for many reasons, sometimes because they are simply broken and beyond economic repair or sometimes because our customers want an upgrade to include ease of use, or additional security or kerb appeal. We have worked with Garador for several years now and only supply and fit the Garador range of garage doors down here in the Southwest. We are really pleased with the quality of the product. “For a number of years, we have had the opportunity to assist the DAAT, an organisation that is close to my heart. The scrap steel is collected from us by Penfold Car Breakers near Honiton and the proceeds collected from this are donated directly to the DAAT. While it isn’t a huge amount, we are generally giving the charity about £100 to £150 every other month and we are delighted to be able to help such a worthwhile charity.” Garador’s Managing Director Neil Discombe said: “We have an exciting range of new doors available, and the number of orders for replacement garage doors remains strong. It is really good to see how old garage doors can be put to good use and help such a worthwhile charity and we congratulate Peter on his initiative.” Find out more from www.firstlightpm.co.uk and www.garador.co.uk
