Harry Brownridge & Jack Behrens continue to work together to run the business. They have recently split into separate departments within the company to ensure the business is strengthened in all areas, adding youthful faces in Lewis Howell, Libertie Gapik & Chloe Russell to assist and learn the trade. Following on from an extremely busy 18-month period, in June 2021 Fox Industrial Doors Ltd won the contract for their biggest project to date. The project gave them the task of installing a total of 28 Sectional Overhead Doors, 7 Steel Hinged Doors & 1 Roller Shutter for the Yorkshire-based, family-run company Econ Engineering. With Econ being based in Ripon since they were established in 1969, the company required another depot which could take care of vehicle servicing requirements. A bespoke new build in Thirsk, North Yorkshire seemed to be the answer. The building was designed with 18 Service Bays, 2 MOT Testing Bays, 2 Brake Testing Bays, 1 Tyre Changing Bay, 1 Small Parts Bay and 2 Spray Booths on the North & South Elevations along with a Parts Store and Shot Plant Room Bay on the Western elevation, ensuring that Econ can complete all aspects of the servicing side of the business in house. All the Sectional Overhead Doors on this project have been specially designed and include a GfA Elektromaten High-Speed Door Motor ensuring that quick operation of these doors can be achieved in both the opening and closing directions. Alpha Deuren has ensured a fantastic U-Value by specifying their 40mm ISO foam-filled panel enabling each door to achieve a U-Value of 1.12 W/m2K. The relationship between Fox Doors & Alpha Deuren has also grown rapidly over the years and it’s the strength of this, combined with a top-quality product and service level which helps Fox Doors compete with other well-known Industrial Door companies nationwide. www.foxdoors.co.uk
