Among 500 exhibitors they were the only one with full range of modern garage doors. Although their stand was only 22.5 m 2 they managed to exhibit 7 garage doors. Visitors were able to see and try out three sectional, three side hinged and one side sliding door. Despite the stand not being big enough to show doors in all of the vast range of colours and finishes that Ryterna offer, they were able to demonstrate the almost endless possibilities available to architects, builders and customers, by using colour swatches, photographs and other supporting material. The show was very well attended and numerous people visited the stand from all over Britain, Ireland even from Australia! At times it was so busy that it was necessary to queue in order to ask a question or to get a package of brochures. “We barely had enough brochures and giveaways available to cope with demand” said Narimantas Karolis Bundza, Ryterna’s UK Manager. Most people attending the show had already obtained planning permission for their projects and were asking very precise questions regarding technical specifications and design possibilities. ‘Where I can buy it?’ – was a typical customer’s response after receiving the required information. As Ryterna has a policy of not supplying end users directly, their dealers found themselves getting a lot of leads during and after the show. Narimantas Karolis added: “In addition to end users, there were many people from garage door and glazing companies who visited our stand. They were interested in how to open an account and become a dealer in order to have Ryterna doors in their sales portfolio. Despite growing our number of dealers, we still have areas of the UK left uncovered, so new dealers are definitely welcome”. On the move Another piece of good news – is that Ryterna have just moved into a new office in Watford, Hertfordshire just off the M1 and M25. The new premises have space for a large showroom, which will be constructed once they have settled in. A new team member, Lukas Braziulis, will be in charge of the office and all the administration work – he is always happy to help and is looking forward to assisting both new and existing customers. The new address is: Unit 7, Orbital 25 Business Park, Dwight Road, Watford, Hertfordshire, WD18 9DA. Telephone: 01923 517 410. THREE NEW TEXTURES FROM GARADOR Garador has taken garage door design a step further by introducing three new textures for its steel sectional doors. Its traditional silkgrain has been relaunched with an ultra smooth surface thanks to the latest in material and paint technology, plus a brand new sandgrain textured finish and timber effect finishes have also been introduced. The sandgrain offers a slightly coarser surface while the steel timber effect texture gives a genuine soft wooden surface feel. All three designs offer great new looks as well as a very different feel. “These new textures have been introduced into our ever popular steel Georgian, Linear Medium and Linear Large sectional doors and offer a fresh exciting alternative,” said Garador’s managing director Simon Hipgrave. “Some doors and colours lend themselves to certain finishes more than others, we’ve found that shades such as Terra Brown, Anthracite Grey and White Aluminium show the sandgrain texture exceptionally well.” Garador’s sectional doors are already recognised as the best engineered garage doors on the market and are ideal for short driveways where there is limited driveway space in front of the garage. They offer exceptionally smooth operation, whether manual or by remote; and the new range of textures can only increase their popularity in the UK. Full details of all the new developments at Garador can be found on the company’s website at www.garador.co.uk or call 01935 443701.
