Existing transmitters, keypads, other control accessories and safety devices continue to operate normally. iOpener™ adds a safe, simple and more secure way of controlling such equipment from most Android or iOS Smart phones and compatible tablets. Customer Feedback: Having listened to their customers, following the launch of the initial two iOpener™ models into the UK and European markets last August, has led to the introduction of a new variant, several new ideas and some bespoke applications that will be rolled out during 2015. The new model, being rolled out in January is a single channel version of their flagship three channel Android and Apple iOS enabled iOpener™ V2. Known as the iOpener™ V1, it complements the original iOpener Android unit (previously known as the V1) by filling a gap in the market for an Android and Apple iOS enabled unit that only operates a single device. Priced around £25 lower than the V2, it is anticipated that it will find a niche with users needing only to operate one device, such as an automated gate or a garage door. The Expanded iOpener™ Range: There are now three different iOpener™ models in the range. Each model has different capabilities, compatibility and functions, so dealers and end users must ensure the correct model is selected to suit the phone (or compatible tablet) that will be used with the iOpener™. Key features summary: If compatibility presents a problem it is possible to overcome the issue by using two different models of iOpener™ on a single device. An example of the above could be parents with up to date Smart Bluetooth enabled phones and the children using handed down Android phones running an earlier version of Android.
