Ellard’s in-house training has been so successful due to the expert knowledge of Ellard’s technical team whom deliver it and the flexibility of the courses. Each course can be tailored to the exact training requirements of the fitters and engineers attending. Just some of the training that has been completed at Ellard this year includes; full product training, basic electrics for the door industry, fault finding and writing risk assessments and method statements. With legislation regarding CSCS cards changing, the demand for NVQs is ever increasing, Ellard have already completed and qualified a number of engineers from local companies. The new machine can mark and engrave virtually anything, from plastics, wood, and glass to a variety of metals. This state of the art machine gives us the capability to engrave laminated materials down to thicknesses of 0.1mm with an engraving depth of 0.04mm whilst also cutting acrylics up to 40mm thick and marking directly onto aluminium, stainless, brass, anodized aluminium and other materials. The machine gives us the opportunity to brand and personalize products on almost any material specifically for our customers without the need for them to purchase in high volumes. Bespoke machine control panels, warning labels, signage, plaques, metal & adhesive laminated CE plates and labels are just a small part of our capabilities with this recent investment. CE plates can have specific serial numbers and install dates engraved, thereby avoiding the need to try and add them at a later date onto a standard plate - which makes it difficult to maintain its professional appearance. You can choose from a standard format or send your own design idea’s to our marketing department and our designers will work with you to ensure you have a professional looking end product.
