Purpose built for injection moulding, the new Slough based facility consists of offices, storage areas, a class ‘D’ cleanroom and a white assembly area. Sovrin Plastics provides services for the supply of precision plastic components and assemblies to the medical, electronics and engineering industries. ASSA ABLOY Security Doors specified doorsets that would contribute significantly towards hygiene, as well as providing important security and access features. Powershield cleanroom steel doorsets were supplied to reduce the development of surface bacteria, helping to ensure that products are kept clean. The doorsets provided had adjustable ‘wrap around’ frames, sealing openings to prevent the collection of dirt, whilst offering the sleek and pleasing aesthetics associated with ASSA ABLOY Security Doors’ systems. Nick Pither, Project Co-Ordinator at Enbloc Ltd, said: “We chose ASSA ABLOY Security Doors to supply the internal steel doors at the Sovrin Plastics facility, as we knew the company had worked successfully on a number of past projects. Doors were finished with a factory applied PPC finish providing a durable hardwearing surface and ASSA ABLOY group hardware was used on all the doorsets.
