The new instrument is called BlueForce Basic and has been specially conceived for the recent DHF TS-011:2016 Technical Specification, that requires only some specific measurements respect to the more complicated EN 12445:2002. The same strength and precision as ever, together with a highly unique design, lie at the base of the success of BlueForce, adopted throughout Europe as a reference instrument by the major Notified Bodies and the top Manufacturers of automations for power-operated gates and pedestrian doors. The “Basic” version of Microtronics BlueForce tester has only the essential functionalities to guarantee the conformity of the automation according to the English regulation. Its noteworthy characteristic is the realization of one force test at a time, with automatic evaluation of the numeric parameters provided for by the normative and the direct visualization on the 6 digits embedded display. It also automatically warns the exceed of the established maximum limits for each parameters. Gate test reports can be easily done by filling in the practical notebook, already predisposed following the DHF TS 011:2016 guide! The module can contain all the data of customer, kind of gate, and other technical details regarding force measurements and safety issues. Each report is composed by three copying sheets: one for the installer himself, one for the customer, and the third to be attached to the technical file of the gate. Moreover, in the back of the cover, there is a brief reminder which reassumes the recommendations of the dhf code of practice, for three basic kinds of closures: sliding, swing and barrier. The gates and their specific measurement points are well represented by means of clear and practical pictures The BlueForce Basic is fully compliant also with the EN 12445 , as a matter of fact, thanks to its USB port, it can be easily connected to a PC to see the force/time graph, as set out in the paragraph 5.1.1 of the European standard. More optional accessories can be added to the tester alone, such as the straight extension, the angular extension (specific for vertical doors and barriers) and the useful Thermal Printer , that communicates wireless with the instrument and is very practical for the printing of the data on the spot. Furthermore, the BlueForce Basic can be later converted in the first- class model: the BlueForce Smart, with the addition of all the technologically advanced features that characterized this product, like the embedded memory, the advanced software and the wireless interface to smartphones!
