ALUROLL INTRODUCES NEW CONCERTINA CARDBOARD PACKAGING SYSTEM Aluroll has developed a new made-to-measure cardboard packaging system for their security shutters and roller garage doors. A pre-creased concertina effect box aims to reduce wastage and provide additional protection while products are in transit. The packaging has been designed to protect Aluroll’s range of roller garage doors and security shutters, in response to feedback received by their sales office. Customers will be able to benefit from professionally packaged products which are easier to handle and have a reduced risk of scratching or other damage. Andy Hall, Aluroll’s new Health and Safety and Quality Manager, is responsible for overseeing the changes. He said: “We’ve been working closely with customers to develop our new packaging. Feedback from a recent survey showed this was a key area where we could improve our systems, and as a result we have reconfigured our factory layout to facilitate an improved packaging and dispatch area. This helps to ensure our customers receive their orders in the best possible condition”. For more information on ordering and delivery speak to the Aluroll sales office on 0800 977 8975.
