Starting Zero back in 1997, Ken had already amassed over 16 years in the door hardware industry. Starting out at Alfred G. Roberts (Exports) Ltd in 1981, Ken remained with Laidlaw Thomson until 1997 working in London, Hong Kong, Bristol, Mitcham, Rochester, Cheadle and Willenhall. MD Mandy Greaves commented: “Ken’s drive, passion and enthusiasm for all things Zero have been truly remarkable over the last 21 years, and he has obviously been instrumental in the success of the business. He will be sorely missed by all his colleagues here at Zero, and we hope you join us in wishing Ken and his wife Helen many years of happy retirement, and travelling!” Ken’s final day was on the 30th September where all at Zero celebrated his career and said thank you.
