Operating across a series of CNC production lines, CCG offers consistent, high-quality finish produced 50% faster than window and door products made by hand. As means of further improving time and resource efficiency, CCG Manufacturing looked to Runners Sliding Systems and the ‘Multirail Auto’, a bespoke overhead conveyor system that was installed within the robotic paint spraying line of the factory. The system has an operator panel, allowing staff to easily adjust speed and start/stop the process from either position. Timber frames and windows are loaded and passed through the automated system to the flow coater chamber where they’re sprayed with wood preserver and then fully dried prior to being offloaded. CCG Manufacturing Manager, John Paton, said: “Since its installation, the Multirail Auto has greatly assisted in improving the production process of our timber window and door products. In a busy factory, it was important to find the right product that could assist our team by achieving time savings and reducing man-handling on the factory floor”. Designed to provide a simple, efficient and affordable system to help users manage their keys, Traka 21 ensures organisations can trace business assets at all times. The key management system allows users to trace and manage up to 21 keys or keysets, with access to keys granted via a secure PIN. By controlling and recording whenever a key is used, security risks are minimised and a business can trace who has accessed a key at any given moment. This record can then be viewed on the cabinet’s display, or can be exported via a USB pen drive. Traka 21 features advanced RFID technology, a touchscreen interface, and does not require a network connection or PC to operate. The standalone system is also mains operated, plus offered with optional battery back-up. To operate the system, users simply have to enter their unique PIN code to access the cabinet. With all keys and keysets individually locked by the Traka 21 unit, those that the user has permission to use will be indicated with a green LED, while those lit by a red LED are unavailable. When returning keys to the system, an amber light will indicate which position a key should be returned to. For more information on Traka 21, please visit marketing.assaabloy.co.uk/traka21
