HorizAL is a French-based manufacturer of high-quality aluminium gates that, in partnership with British company Alucorb Ltd, has launched its innovative “Portalier” installation concept across the country. The venture is run in the UK by Nick Corbett, M.D. at Alucorb Ltd. In France, “Portaliers” are gate installation experts who are trained, approved and regulated by HorizAL and are licensed to install the product in their own designated, and exclusive geographical area. Adopting the same business model as the French, each regional UK “Portalier” is trained by Alucorb in all sales and technical aspects of HorizAL swinging, sliding or cantilevered aluminium gates, as well as all other associated products - such as matching pedestrian gates and fencing. Gates are delivered straight to site on request, with Alucorb also assisting with each “Portalier’s” first installation. The concept is proving so successful that Alucorb recently appointed a National Sales Manager – Jordan Woods – to cope with demand.
