David Close of leading garage door supplier Doorfit, says recent large contracts for multiple developments have included mass orders for doors with windows and also developments featuring homes with double garage doors. “Things are changing,” said David. “Thanks to our partnership with British garage door manufacturer Garador, we can now offer large developments a range of different garage styles at really key price points. This means larger developments, as well as individual properties, can now enjoy the benefits of great design and also new sizes more compatible with modern lifestyles. “This is proving especially popular with renovations, where we can upgrade a development with great looking garage doors,” he added. A case in point is a major project Doorfit recently completed for Pennycuick Collins, a property management company based in Birmingham. They were renovating a major residential development in Edgbaston and after seeking quotes from a variety of garage door installers, supplying products from various manufacturers, they settled on Doorfit and Garador. Doorfit would survey, supply and install, whilst Garador would manufacture and supply the garage doors. Partnering with leading garage door manufacturer Garador has ensured a quality product that’s both reliable and secure. They have a reputation for producing steel garage doors in a range of standard and purpose-made door sizes, in both single and doubles, making them ideal for situations where multiple doors are required. David Close comments “These doors are beautifully engineered with clean, modern designs. We installed over 30 Garador Horizon framed retractable garage doors; some were 8'0" x 7'0" but the majority were the wider 14'0" x 7'0"”. David Close continues “While installing this level of double doors on a specific development is unusual, we work with many property management companies, housing associations and local authorities on projects similar to this. Our team worked extremely hard on this project and the feedback from the client as well as the individual property owners is testament to a job well done” Dale Jones, Director of the property management company, Pennycuick Collins, was also very happy with the result “Many of the sites we manage have older Garador doors installed. They’ve stood the test of time so it makes complete sense to use the Garador product when replacing them. The new doors look to be well-engineered and our clients are impressed with their quality and performance.” Dale continues “We’ve used Doorfit on numerous occasions, they provide us with an excellent service, from initial site survey right through to installation. The Garador and Doorfit combination works well for us and we look forward to working with both on future projects.” You can find out more about Doorfit by visiting www.doorfit.co.uk and also Garador’s range of garage doors by visiting www.garador.co.uk Garador to Restart its Training Programmes Garador is to restart its hugely popular training and instruction courses.
