Also online at: www.dijonline.co.uk 96 THE door industry journal spring 2022 Automated Gates & Barriers Aluminium gate specialist HorizAL attracted installers from across the UK to its stand at the Homebuilding and Renovating Show at the Birmingham NEC, which ran from the 24th to the 27th of March. HorizAL™ is the French aluminium gate manufacturer that has partnered with Stockport-based Alucorb to offer UK gate installers access to a wide range of durable, reliable and great looking gates. HorizAL’s vast portfolio of gates was on display to the installation trade throughout the show, with a steady stream of people coming to view the products and talk to the team. HorizAL gates are virtually maintenance-free and coated with marine-grade Qualicoat thermal lacquering (the highest European standard), which ensures longevity and reliability of colour and finish. The lacquering itself is guaranteed for a minimum of 10 years. Also, each gate is made from a reinforced structure, which reduces the stress caused by strong winds. Each HorizAL gate is properly engineered, rather than ‘screwed and glued’ like cheaper alternatives, then rigorously factory-tested at the production facility in Lyon before being CE marked and shipped to the UK. The quality of the product has encouraged an increasing number of gate installers to get involved and become part of the firm’s nationwide installation network. And Darren Weatherill, Operations Director at Alucorb Ltd, says this number rose significantly after the company’s appearance at the NEC: “When people at the NEC saw these gates they were blown away,” he explains. “The quality just shines through – and when we told them about the huge amount of support we Enjoys Successful NEC Appearance
